Imperfect by far
This game has two glaring problems that make the game limited in fun. 1) The statistics dont make intuitive sense and also fluctuate wildly 2) The random number generator has a large impact on the game, making your decisions often meaningless If these frustrating problems are solved I would give it 5/5 due to a nice story.
Entertaining
Well written story and very entertaining, just what Ive come to expect from Choice games. My only two complaints is that the ending felt a little quick, would have been nice to have more after the final showdown. Also, the main villain seems to be the same and have the same motives no matter what you do in the game.
Just Me Whining
Im still a Choice of Games fan, but Im just not that fond of Last Monster Master. This game is not that intuitive (which I suppose, since its sort of modeled after raising a child, would make sense, but still annoying). Another point is that the game creates this absolute that you must play favorites with your monster students which was equally as my playthrough involved my favored monster having lower affinity due to my stats. All in all, I was not impressed with this game, but still looking forward to Choice of Gamess next publishment.
My 2nd favorite!!
Ive probably played all Choice of Games, and this game is just under Choice of Mobster. This game is my second absolute favorite, if you like Choice of Games, I really recommend this game.
Good story
I very much enjoyed the story, however the choices I make sometimes are not driven by logic, and it takes several Playthrus to get them right. Some of the outcomes are forced on you, I cant go in more detail without revealing spoilers. happy with my purchase and definitely recommend it.
